Alpha Phi's philanthropic partner is the Alpha Phi Foundation. The Foundation is dedicated to advancing leadership development, encouraging academic excellence, improving women's heart health, supporting sisters in need, and educating about the value of philanthropy. Each year the Foundation awards the Heart to Heart Cardiac Care grant to an organization focused on women's cardiac research. Together with our collegiate sisters from Alpha Phi's 168 chapters in North America, we're proud to raise more than a million dollars each year. This year, our chapter will host it's inaugural Red Dress Gala and other philanthropy events to raise money for the Foundation.

Red Dress Gala.

Once a year, our Alpha Phi members, parents, and alumni gather together for the highlight event of the year: The Red Dress Gala. The Red Dress Gala is a night filled with a formal sit down dinner and silent auctions to raise money for the Alpha Phi Foundation in support of women's heart health. In our recent third annual gala event, Iowa State Alpha Phi raised over $30,000.

Mac & Phis

Every spring, Alpha Phi hosts a philanthropy event right at our chapter house. The event is open to all students on the Iowa State University campus to join us for a night of food and fun! This year's philanthropy was Mac & Phis with all you can eat mac & cheese, salad, and Red Bull! We raised a total of $3,800—all that went towards funding for women's heart health!
